1.   The Evangelical Alliance Flanders instigated, since 2004, the first Sunday in May (May 6th) the yearly day of prayer for the EU. For many Christians this “big subject” is not easy to grasp (which we can understand), but if we don’t mobilize ourselves to pray for the EU, others will surely exercise their influence!

There are several Christian European organizations and Prayer Movements carefully watching the developments within the EU.

Among those groups, the “European Union of Prayer” (Lead by Ortwin Schweitzer) was all the time in prayer during the festivities surrounding 50 years EU in Berlin.

Another group is “Europe for Christ”, started from Austria to mobilize prayer for our old continent, so far removed from God. Surf to their website: www.europe4christ.net . If you want to receive their news, mail to office@europe4christ.net .

A third is “Together for Europe”: 170 Christian groups and organizations from all churches and communities will have a protest march on May 12th in Stuttgart (12.000 participants are expected stuttgart.belgium2007@skynet.be ). Their website: www.miteinander-wie-sonst.de.

Let us be encouraged by all these movements! From the EURCP, Hugh and Norma Davis eurcp@aol.com
